This is the story of a South Carolina boy and a Tennessee girl... It all started in 2018 when we sold our 8 Acre Farm in Myakka to move “into the city”. We landed in the beautiful and serene community of Mill Creek. I suppose you’ve heard the old saying “You can take the boy out of South Carolina but you can’t take the South Carolina out of the boy.” Well friends, that’s where we are... We love this home so much but it's time to move on and allow God to bless another family here ~ just like he did with us. Of course, we’ll miss our great neighbors... and we’ll always cherish the memories we’ve had here at large parties, family gatherings and Bayside small groups. While living here, we’ve turned our backyard into a small mini farm, parking our RV, our trucks, equipment and trailers there. We’ve enjoyed our Raised Garden Beds which have furnished our family and friends with lots of organic vegetables throughout the years. A great place to store the boy toys! The Privacy in our back yard is probably what we love the most about our home. We love watching the deer drink from our Creek, the native birds eating from the feeders and growing flowers. Also, there is a lovely Pond beside our home where we often watch native Florida Cranes, Egrets, Herons and Pelicans. There are many waterfront common areas throughout Mill Creek where you might enjoy fishing or a picnic with your family. It’s been a joy to live in the Lakewood Ranch area but not~on The Ranch where there are enormous costs for amenities and CDD’s Community Development District Taxes. We’re so excited to be within walking distance to the new White Eagle Publix shopping Center. In Mill Creek, our HOA fees are only $479 per year! Our private pool and lanai area is another one of our favorites! Our heated 30x15 Salt Water Pool is our go to respite after work each day... A medium rare filet prepared in our outdoor kitchen is my husband’s dinner-time favorite. Our open floor plan home has gone through a big refresh with new porcelain floors, quartz countertops, high tech appliances, tankless water heater, lighting, paint, electrical, AC, remote controlled window/skylight treatments and more! We are gifting you with $50,000 worth of solar panels for an average electric bill of $95 per month ~ our loss, your gain. And finally, I’ve saved the best for last!
