Pine Shadows Air park is a gated fly-in community on the east side of US 41 in North Fort Myers within easy reach of shopping and medical facilities, yet surrounded by mini-farm estates and a large county park for neighborhood peace and quiet. The Air park has been in existence since 1982 and consists of 75 lots of an acre or more, about 60 now with homes. The primary amenity is the 3200' long by 75' wide lighted runway (repaved in 2002), along with airplane access to each lot by way of the street network. 100 octane aviation gasoline is available at the Park's new self-serve fuel facility.
