If you've been searching for a blue and white house that needs some work (and truthfully, who hasn't been), this is the ONE! First, let's talk location. If you love the thrill of swimming with alligators because it makes you feel "alive" (at least until you're mistaken for a wounded porpoise), the beautiful Lake Maggiore is at the dead end of 18th Street (did we say dead?). If you're just into nature and no traffic, the location is super for you too. The house is like that sturdy little pack mule that carted all your stuff over the Sierra Nevada mountains during that treasure hunting phase you went through after college. Solid but unimpressive. You'll love the cement ramp to the sliding door if you need an accessible dwelling or just like to ride your scooter right into the house. Either works. Inside is a blank slate, still covered in caulk dust and upside-down palmetto bugs (they are ugly either side up). Big living room and front entry / porch area that is enclosed and has air/heat. Bedrooms not bad sized unless you're thinking twin California king beds because you and your partner(s) all have restless leg syndrome. Then the bedrooms might not work (but the backyard would). Speaking of the backyard - you've got wide open space - think pool, garage, turtle farm (confirm with city before going all out with turtles however).... Roof new in 2021. HVAC new in 2015. Tented in 2016.
A few caveats friends.... first, listing agent does not work with buyers... if you are a buyer you rock, but find an agent to show you and submit offer. And just to be clear, we don't endorse swimming in the lake. Thanks for looking!
